When staying at the Atlantic Oceanfront Inn, a downtown Ocean City bar crawl is a must! There are plenty of bars to go to down the strip and on the boards, but here are 5 bars you can’t miss on your next downtown bar crawl.
Seacrets is located a few streets away from the Atlantic Oceanfront Inn. This is a must-stop-by location. This is more than just a bar and restaurant, it is a lifestyle.
“Located on the Boardwalk between Talbot and Caroline Streets, the Purple Moose is rock ‘n roll heaven on the beach,” according to the Purple Moose website, and I couldn’t have said it better if I tried. If you’re tired of listening to Pop and EDM in every other bar you go and just want some good ol’ rock ‘n roll, this is definitely the place to be with live performances of your favorite rock tunes. Oh, and word on the street is they make the best Bloody Marys.
The Cork Bar on Wicomico Street, said to serve the coldest beer in town. It has a great grill with pool tables, a shuffle bowl board, electronic dart board, and a jukebox loaded with just about any music. Fans of the Cork Bar promise the coldest beers and the friendliest bartenders in Ocean City that’ll have you coming back for more.
Located right next to the Route 50 bridge on Talbot St., M.R. Ducks is the place to be whether you’re looking for live bands, beautiful sunsets, savory food, cold drinks, you name it. While you’re there, you must chug-a-duck! A chug-a-what? It’s an upside down duck filled with your favorite drink and then you…well you chug! I’d show you a picture, but it’s best to see for yourself.
If you don’t mind going over the Rt 50 bridge, Harborside is located off Golf Course Rd. on Harbor Rd. ‘Home of the Original Orange Crush,’ Harborside is known for their casual and friendly atmosphere. If you’re looking for a relaxing bar to eat and hang out with friends, this is it. Fish tacos anyone?
